The City: Place's to eat in Dublin for under a tenner #1: Alfie's South William Street

In the midst of the trendy mecca that is South William Street, you will find the deliciously affordable Alfie’s. My Aunty Patsy (more about her later on the blog)  took me there today for lunch.

I am exploring frugality at the moment as I have no money. I realise eating in restaurants is kind of against frugality but I want to find a way to be frugal and enjoy the life. I’m totally using the word frugal in the wrong sense but that is a hobby of mine as you will discover as the blog goes on- I am responsible for mass over and innapropriate uses of the word ‘liaise’ all over the city.

They do this lunchbox deal- three things for ten euro- and its delicious, fast & healthy! We were in and out in forty minutes and we had proper hot food.

The man who served us was lovely and the restaurant itself is beautiful as is South William Street and the surrounds.

The best bit is they include a drink with that! AMAZE. I refuse to write recession chic but you get what I mean.

Here’s the deets. http://www.alfies.ie/menu/lunch-box-menu
